Bonita Canyon Back-to-School Arrival and Dismissal Reminders
Welcome back, Bonita Canyon families! We can't wait to see your kids' smiling faces at school tomorrow. To ensure a safe and smooth start to the year, please review these key arrival and dismissal procedures. Your patience and kindness are greatly appreciated! 🙂
Morning Arrival
Supervision begins at 8 a.m. Please do not drop off students before this time.
For your child's safety, please use the designated crosswalks on Sundance Drive and Turtle Rock Drive. Do not jaywalk across Sundance Drive.
When dropping off students, use the marked curbside valet area on Sundance Drive. Please have your child stay in the car until a staff member opens their door.
To speed up the process, a pro tip is to have your child's backpack on their lap, ready to go.
The school parking lot is for staff and those with parking tags only. Please do not park in staff or handicapped spaces unless you have a valid placard.
PK/Kinder families should park off-campus and walk their child to school.
Afternoon Dismissal
Have a plan for where you will pick up your child.
Please stay in your car when waiting for pickup on Sundance Drive, as this is a "no parking" curb.
Again, for your child's safety, please use the designated crosswalks on Sundance and Turtle Rock Drive. Do not jaywalk.
Students who are not picked up within 15 minutes of dismissal will be sent to the office. Parents or guardians must then come inside and sign them out.
